// World Boss · PvE Ascension
Rules
The rules of every World Boss on Ascension, whatever the difficulty.
HunterNightmareApocalypseOblivion
Access
- Level 100 minimum.
- You need access to the boss’s map: each difficulty has its own maps.
- Hunter The open tier: Ragnarok, open to everyone.
- Nightmare Scorched Earth: for survivors who defeated the Overseer of The Island.
- Apocalypse Valguero and Aberration: for those who defeated the Manticore.
- Oblivion Extinction and Astraeos: the summit, for those who defeated Rockwell.
How it works
- Each boss is announced in game on every map and on Discord 30 min before it spawns: the arena opens at the same time, get in before the boss arrives.
- The arena closes when the boss spawns: nobody can enter or leave until the fight is over.
- A boss not defeated within one hour escapes.
Inside the arena
- Only creatures suited to the boss may enter: land creatures for a land boss, flyers for an air boss, aquatic creatures for a sea boss (amphibious creatures are allowed in land and sea arenas). Others are sent back outside.
- Keep your creatures along the edges of the arena, never in the middle: that is where the boss spawns.
- 100 creatures max in the arena, 20 per tribe: extra creatures are sent back outside, latest arrivals first (a ridden creature is never moved).
- 50 players max.
- Tek weapons and grappling hooks are banned, no Tek suit flying.
- No building inside or around the arena.
Rewards and leaderboard
- Every survivor alive inside the arena when the boss dies is rewarded, with no minimum damage.
- The leaderboard ranks tribes: each victory gives the tribe the points of its difficulty, once per tribe whatever its number of players, plus a bonus based on the creatures engaged and a bonus for the 6 tribes dealing the most damage.
- Bonus for the 3 tribes dealing the most damage, for every rewarded member: 1st = one extra cache, 2nd = double shop points, 3rd = +50% shop points.
No refunds
- Creatures, items and gear lost during a World Boss are not refunded.
- Any attempt to get around the rules (bug, exploit, forcing your way into the arena) may cancel your rewards.
