Privacy Policy
How the WAK ARK Servers website collects, uses and protects your personal data.
1. Preamble
This privacy policy explains what personal data is collected on the WAK ARK Servers website (hereinafter "the Site"), why, for how long it is kept, and what rights you can exercise over it, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

2. Data collected
2.1 Via Discord login
Account creation is only possible through Discord (OAuth). We receive from Discord: your Discord ID, username, avatar, and email address if Discord provides it to us.
2.2 Game data
- Your EOS ID (Epic Online Services identifier), required to deliver your purchases in-game
- The history of changes to your EOS ID
- Your in-game presence (server, map, approximate playtime) — used for the public dashboard and multi-account detection
2.3 Purchase data
Your order history (items purchased, amounts, dates, delivery status) is stored on the Site. Payment itself is processed directly by Stripe: we never receive or store your bank details.
2.4 Technical data
A session cookie (managed by our authentication system) keeps you logged in. A language preference cookie remembers your chosen language on the Site. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
3. Purposes of processing
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver your in-game purchases and track your orders
- Keep the Site secure and prevent fraud (multiple accounts used to bypass a ban or moderation action, abusive payment disputes)
- Power community features (leaderboard, mini-games, history on your account page)
- Respond to support requests
No data is used for marketing purposes or sold to third parties.
4. Legal basis
Processing of your data is based on: performance of the sales contract (delivering purchases), your consent (Discord login), and our legitimate interest in keeping the Site and its community safe (fraud and multi-account prevention).
5. Data recipients
Your data is only shared with providers strictly necessary for the Site to function:
- Discord — for authenticating your account
- Stripe — for processing payments
No data is sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.
6. Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active.
Even when an account deletion is requested, certain information (in particular your Discord ID and EOS ID) is retained to prevent a new account from being created to bypass a ban, a moderation action, or any other protection in place on the Site. This retention is strictly limited to this security purpose.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right of rectification: correct inaccurate data (e.g. your EOS ID from your account page)
- Right to erasure: request deletion of your data, subject to the security exception described in Article 6
- Right to object and to restrict processing
- Right to data portability
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via Discord (see Article 9). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. Data security
The Site implements technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), mandatory two-factor authentication for administrator accounts, and logging of sensitive actions performed by the admin team.
